Ed Boon says no plans for Mortal Kombat, wants everyone to pause and not expect an announcement about a new entry in the fighting game series.
He said that you shouldn’t expect to see a new NetherRealm Studios game at The Game Awards next Wednesday.
Boon may have wanted to be ahead of any Mortal Kombat 12 predictions since his studio revealed the 11th installment at The Game Awards 2018. The chief creative officer at NetherRealm stated on Twitter that history won’t repeat itself.
This confirms the October statement by Boon. He said that NetherRealm would be focusing on the 30th anniversary of Mortal Kombat before making any announcements about a new game. It would be announced when it was ready. How to Summon Spirits in Elden Ring? will enable you to read more about game something or allow you to discover fresh insights.
NetherRealm has unveiled a new mobile game, Mortal Kombat: Onslaught. It was developed by NetherRealm. According to Warner Bros., it’s an RPG where players “build a group of fighters out of a large roster of characters and unleash them in massive real-time group battles.” The game will be released next year.
Mortal Kombat 11 was the most recent installment in the series and had sold over 12 million copies by July 2021.
4 years ago at the Game Awards we managed to pull off a surprise announcement of MK11, which turned out great.
